Sought-after leading man. Licensed pilot. Accomplished visual artist. Concert performer.
These are just a few of the “roles” Ian Veneracion takes pride in.
The 44-year-old actor and musical artist recently added another feather to his cap after he was introduced as the brand ambassador for Cebu Landmasters Inc., the leading real estate developer in Visayas and Mindanao.
Grateful for being chosen to front CLI’s new marketing campaign, “Live Extraordinarily,” Ian expressed how living extraordinarily means to him and how his love for family is the core of it all.
“Living extraordinarily is living life to the fullest and how I do it is I explore the outdoors. And I always tell my children that the world is their playground so they climb mountains and go to the beach. Living extraordinarily is also about using your time wisely, seeing the world, especially with your family,” said the father of three.
Ian, whose mother is from Liloan, knows this by heart as he himself spent summers in Cebu during his younger years. His affinity to Cebu as well as how he reflects the values of CLI make him the ideal brand ambassador.
The CLI team, led by its executives, gave him that distinct Cebuano welcome in an intimate gathering at the Oakridge Horizons last June 10.
“I am really proud to be its first brand ambassador and I believe in the corporation’s vision,” Ian said.
“If you are proud of this brand ambassadorship, we are proud(er) as well because you epitomize the personality that we are looking for to represent Cebu Landmasters,” said Jose “Joe” Soberano III, CLI president and chief executive officer. He went on to describe how Ian and CLI are the perfect match.
“You’re multi-faceted and that’s what the company is all about. You have that character, that strength in you that we have always seen and the most important thing, your being family- oriented. That, to us, means a lot. And who better can represent that kind of personality as our brand ambassador than Ian Veneracion,” Soberano III said.
Joie Soberano-Bergunthal, CLI vice president and marketing director, detailed how Ian’s decades-long career in the entertainment industry has become an inspiration for the CLI brand as its marks its 16th anniversary this year.
“Ian’s personality and track record are a perfect fit for Cebu Landmasters. Whatever Ian does—be it acting, singing, or being a family man—he does it well,” she said. (Photos by Jed Aries Yu)
