Cebuano developer Taft Properties marks the topping off milestone of the retail and office podium of its mixed-use project, the Taft East Gate.
The podium anchors the development’s residential and commercial components, with the retail podium set to open by the second quarter of 2020.
“We are now a step closer to becoming a one-stop, mixed-use development rising at the Cebu Business Park, one of the city’s premier business hubs,” said Myra Lynn Gilig, vice president and deputy COO of Taft Properties.
The 10-storey podium will produce a total of 2,514 square meters of retail space, 6,145 square meters of BPO and office space, three basement parking levels for commercial tenants and four podium parking levels for condominium residents.
The Gaisano family-owned real estate developer is now accepting letters of intent from interested retail and office tenants to locate in what is touted as the city’s next premier lifestyle destination.
Located on the corner of Cardinal Rosales Avenue and Pope John Paul II Avenue near the Cebu Business Park, Taft East Gate offers a strategic and easily accessible location for every business. The property is just a walking distance from some of the city’s premier business and lifestyle destinations.
The phase one of the Taft East Gate will have two commercial space levels, two office space levels, and 31 residential levels.
The mixed-use complex will have a total of four towers comprising of condominiums, BPO offices, commercial spaces, and a hotel to be anchored by Taft East Gate Mall. On top of the mall, the podium is the Sky Plaza, the expansive amenity deck overlooking Cebu City.
“Taft Properties’ vision of a community that embodies the best aspects of the company’s MicroTownship concept – the standard which ensures that Taft’s projects are placed only on transit-oriented and strategic locations – is perfectly captured in Taft East Gate,” Gilig expressed.
To mark this new milestone for the company, Taft East Gate staged a culinary event dubbed as “Flavors of the World” which will feature different cuisines from around the world, including Asian, Western, European, and Middle Eastern cuisines.
Guests, including buyers and agents, indulged in the important gathering.
