Take a sip of the Christmas spirit with Starbucks’ holiday drinks

Starbucks Philippines ushers in the Christmas season by bringing back two of its beloved holiday beverages and introducing a new and exciting one.

Starting November 3, coffee lovers can again enjoy their cup of the ultimate fan favorite, Toffee Nut Crunch Latte, a blend of buttery toffee, steamed milk, toasted nuts, and Starbucks signature espresso, topped with whipped cream and crunchy toffee nut.

Another returnee in the Starbucks Christmas menu is the Peppermint Mocha, a mix of peppermint, mocha sauce, steamed milk, and Starbucks signature espresso, made even tastier with mocha drizzle, whipped cream and bits of candy cane.

Ever wondered how spiced apples with steamed milk and Starbucks signature espresso taste like? Find out by trying the newest holiday drink, the Jolly Baked Apple Latte. This holiday beverage is topped with a drizzle of baked apple sauce, candied apple sprinkles and a whipped cream dome.

All three holiday drinks are available blended, hot and iced and are priced at P180 (Tall), P195 (Grande) and P210 (Venti).

Perfect for aspiring baritas who want to try brewing at home is the “sweet and spicy” Starbucks Christmas Blend, made of dark roasted beans from Guatemala, Colombia, Papua New Guinea and rare aged Sumatra, with hints of baking spices, herbs and rich chocolate finish.

There’s also the Christmas Blend’s darker and deeper version, the Christmas Blend Espresso Roast, a blend of African, Indonesian and Latin American beans with rare aged Sumatra. The Christmas Blend costs P595 for the whole bean, P450 for both the VIA and Origami variants. The Christmas Blend Espresso Roast (whole bean) is priced at P695.

Completing the trio is the Starbucks Reserve Christmas 2020 blend, which is made of hand-selected beans from Hacienda Alsacia in Costa Rica, with hints of citrus, aged Sumatra and full-bodied Sulawesi coffee from Indonesia. This is available only in Starbucks Reserve Stores nationwide for P695.

For that complete coffee experience, pair your favorite Starbucks drink with savory or sweet treats. For the ultimate chocolate lover, there’s the Triple Chocolate Cake made with Belgian chocolate. Dig into this rich chocolate cake, with layers of brownie, velvety dark and milk chocolate mousse, topped with dark, milk, and white chocolate cream frosting.

Other chocolate-y options are the Chocolate Crepe Cake which boasts 17 layers of crepe with smooth and creamy chocolate cream filling; the Chocolate Chip Overload Cookie, which is made of dark and milk Belgian chocolate chips and chunks; and the Chocolate Chip Doughnut, soft doughnut with chocolate chip cookie, topped with crushed chocolate chip cookie and dark chocolate ganache.

The sweet tooth can also indulge by taking a bite of the Apple Berry Crumble Cheesecake, a smooth and creamy mix of apples, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, topped with butter crumbles. There’s also the Holiday Coffee Cake, made even richer with creamy coffee mousse, meringue and white chocolate cream icing. Another must-try is the PBJ (Peanut Butter and Jelly) Doughnut, made of creamy peanut butter and strawberry jam.

The list of savory items, on the other hand, features the returning favorite, Chicken Fajita Roll, a tortilla filled with Mexican-flavored chicken breast fillet; the Mushroom Bun, a crispy and light bun with mushroom and cheese; the Cheesy Spinach Tree, a buttery and flaky pastry filled with cheese, spinach, onions and herbs; the Holiday Ham, Eggwhite, Cheese on Croissant Bun, slow roasted Christmas ham, egg white omelette and cheese dressing on buttery flaky croissant bun; and Prosciutto Cotto and Mozzarella Panzerotti, soft and crispy fried dough stuffed with gooey mozzarella and prosciutto cotto.

Also available starting November 3 are ready-to-drink beverages, which will come in handy while one works from home, attend (intimate) gatherings or go on road trips. Take your pick from the following: Bottled Vanilla Frappuccino, Bottled Caramel Frappuccino, Doubleshot Milky Espresso and Doubleshot Dark Mocha.

Jumpstart the Yuletide season with Starbucks merchandise that is sure to make every gifter and giftee happy. The Holiday Bling Cups in iridescent pink and rainbow colors are available at P1,695 while Pearl Hot Cup in pink, silver, blue and green are priced at P125 each.

Ideal for pet lovers is the Home for the Holidays Collection which features dog and cat designs in red, green, camel brown and white. The Copper Gem Collection, on the other hand, is all about minimalist glam with artwork in matte black and glossy copper finish.

And to mark another milestone, Starbucks Philippines will roll out its 23rd Anniversary Collection, highlighted by siren and water elements in sea foam blue with a touch of gold. A must-buy is the Special 23rd Anniversary Card and Journal set which retails at P2,700 (Starbucks Card initial activation of P1,000).
